I've been running CursorFX Plus, Object Desktop and Object Dock Plus for a couple of months now on my 2.0gig dual core Asus laptop 4gigs of memory installed with vista x32 home edition.  There are some programs that I can never get to work.  They won't even open.  I've tried the uninstall and reinstall thing and it hasn't worked.  I think these programs maybe XP only.  Are all the object desktop programs supposed to work with vista?  The only one that I really would like to get working is Soundpackager.  When I start SoundPackager vista pops up a window that says it has stopped working. Stardock Central says everything is up to date.  Thanks.

Here's the programs that aren't working.
WindowsFX
Icon Developer
IconX
SoundPackager

SoundPackager is the only app on your list that is certified Vista ready at this point.  ObjectDock isn't on your list but is vista ready.

If you are an ODNT subscriber, you can check the "show beta versions" in SDC and try them.

Latest beta builds of IconDeveloper works fine without any major problem under Windows Vista 32-bits.

Yeah I had show betas checked. At this point I only really care about soundpackager. I didn't see a beta version of SP so I assume there isn't one. I installed version 1.00.009 from SDC. I also tried install the demo version off the stardock.com with the same problem. I did a uninstall of soundpackager, reboot then I ran cclean on the registry and removed any folders related to soundpackager in my user directory, rebooted and then reinstalled. For some reason I can't even get through the install. When I'm doing the install from stardock central close to the end of the install process I get the "Soundpackager has stopped working" window pop up. I get a couple of these before the end of the install then when SDC is finished it says the install is complete. Thanks for any ideas on what this is.
